What is a School Accountability Report Card (SARC)?

Think of the School Accountability Report Card (SARC) as our annual school report card! Every year, California public schools provide this comprehensive profile to the community to give you a clear, transparent look at how our schools are doing. It is designed to share quick, essential insights into our school environment, achievements, and resources, including:

  • Student Achievement: How our students are performing academically and progressing over time.

  • Our Team: Statistics regarding teacher credentials, preparation, and qualifications.

  • Learning Environment: Information on safety plans, classroom sizes, and school cleanliness.

  • Resources & Materials: Details about the quality of our textbooks, instructional materials, and school facilities.

Why does it matter?

We believe that open communication is key to a strong school community. The SARC is a great tool for parents, guardians, and community members to see what we are doing well and where we are focusing our efforts to grow.
