The Black Oak Mine Unified School District provides for the needs of students identified for Special Education through the El Dorado County Special Education Local Planning Area (SELPA). The mission of the El Dorado County SELPA is to provide quality leadership and support to El Dorado County school districts, parents, and students by promoting and insuring delivery of services to maximize educational opportunities for children with special needs.
