In the event that schools will need to be closed before the start of the school day, every effort will be made to contact parents as soon as we are able to determine the status of the roads before they depart for bus stops - that may be an early call.  When school is in session and it is  determined that they need to be closed, parents will be contacted vial "Connect-Ed" our automated calling system.  It is critical that parents keep their contact information up to date on file at their school offices.

Should school need to close early, the emergency plans that parents place on file at the beginning of the school year will be followed.  It is important that parents retain a copy of those emergency plans for reference if needed throughout the year.

Parents will also be notified vial a "Connect-Ed" telephone message sent out to all emergency contacts.  Please note, should their be a significant power outage or loss of internet access, we may be limited in providing adequate parent notification.  Below is a list of websites and news stations that can also be accessed for information.
