Golden Sierra High School

Golden Sierra High School, "Home of the Grizzlies", is surrounded by conifers and oak on its hillside campus in Garden Valley, CA .The upper, middle, and lower campus are connected by stairways and handicap accessible ramps. Over the last several years, a new science wing and drama classroom were added to the middle campus. This summer, the main offices, classrooms and library were reconfigured to complete the two year remodeling project.

A familiar face, in a new assignment, Principal Kevin Ahern will apply his many years of experience to continue traditions and enhance the learning environment of students at this award winning school. Another familiar face returns as Assistant Principal Laurie Hockenson.  After years of honing her administrative skills in other districts, she comes back "home" where many students will remember her as their teacher and former assistant principal at Georgetown School.  This dynamic duo welcomes you to Golden Sierra High School.
